With fast-charging, the Galaxy S®6 and Galaxy S®6 edge keep on calling, texting, snapping, browsing and sharing for four more hours on just 10 minutes of charge time*. Like any great relationship, though, it can be hard to swallow the time apart. While the distance makes your tech-loving heart grow fonder, you might as well pack your phone's brief breather with a short-but-sweet moment that's all your own.

1. Breathe Easy

You don't have to escape to a mystical mountaintop to meditate for a bit. Take ten to close your eyes and just focus on breathing in and out—a little mindful self-improvement while your phone sips power keeps your brain young and your blood pressure down. Besides, you'll still have the other 23 hours and 50 minutes in the day to check out the edge screen's Information Stream.

2. Take in a Chapter

The average adult reads 300 words-per-minute, or about 3,000 words per Galaxy S6 fast charge. That's roughly six pages of the average book. So why not leaf through that novel you borrowed from your bestie six months ago? After all, not all text comes on an AMOLED screen. Paper's good, too.

3. Recharge While You Recharge

Ten minutes is just about perfect for brewing up a personal mug o' joe, or for digging out the stovetop espresso maker and treating a friend to a cup. Might as well try something new, too, like blending in a spoonful of coconut oil for extra creaminess and energy. As for whether or not it keeps you trucking for another four hours—well, your mileage may vary.

4. Attend a Personal Concert

The third movement of Mozart's “Klarinettenkonzert” is a rondo that spans 9 minutes and 28 seconds. That's nine-and-half minutes of springy, soul-charging, virtuoso genius. Plus, your next date will be really impressed (especially if you nail the pronunciation). One charge down, one horizon expanded.

5. Play Fetch

While your phone needs to recharge, your pooch needs to de-charge. Kick back and let your furry friend do the running for a not-too-long but not-too-short play session. He'll love you even more for it, though we recommend “losing” the ball under the couch during the ninth minute for the perfect fetch-to-charged-phone segue.

*Testing performed with in-box standard AFC charger. Charge percentage/time to charge based on charging starting at 0% battery charge. Usage time based on estimates. Battery power consumption depends on factors such as network configuration, carrier network, signal strength, operating temperature, features selected, vibrate mode, backlight settings, browser use, frequency of calls, and voice, date and other application-usage patterns. Your results may vary.
